ONEBLINDGUY dot COM. Master Your Universe
Total rework! Coming soon! But, here is a start. Honestly, I have not played for two years. That is primarly because I have not found a buddy to help me around the course. Nevertheless, I have been fortunate to play in the V.A. sponsored T.E.E. tournament in 2008 and 2009. Perhaps next in 2017 I will be able to return. I will provide more about this great gift to the veteran later! You see, the blind can play. But, they need someone willing to act as coach. Coach? This person sets-up (positions correctly) the player on the tee, in the fairway and on the greens. After that, it's up to the player to pull-the-trigger! I have found that it's a completely different (Before going blind I was a mechanical player. Today it's mostly feel) game for the blind, but, it can be done! Just need a little help. Practice doesn't hurt either. Note, also, that the blind player plays by all U.S.G.A. rules excepting one. The blind player is allowed to ground their club in the sand when a bunker shot is required. Other that that? Same rules apply!
